The actor's calling is under assault from a culture which elevates baring the flesh over baring the soul, displaying the self over revealing the truth, type over talent, technology over heart: a culture increasingly coarse and inimical to the American actor.
Where once we served as sorcerers who danced the hunt gone well so that it would, ensuring humanity's survival in the Stone Age, now we're called to do the same, no longer through the hunt for flesh, but as runways for the human spirit: new sorcerers for an Age of Stone.
