ADVANCED SCENE STUDY (Ages 10+)

Thursdays 6-7PM ET (ON ZOOM)

Instructor: Shay Lee Abeson

Class Details:

Advanced Scene Study is like a gym for young working actors, keeping them sharp and in shape for those quick turnaround auditions! In this advanced class, students work on real industry sides, learning about: justification, making bold choices, self tape skills, how to choose the right partner, creating a moment before, sensory work, character work, script analysis and more!

Similar to Anthony’s saying, “whatever works,” Shay teaches a multitude of techniques so all students are equipped with a proverbial “tool belt” they can use during auditions, on set and on stage!

This class is by interview/audition only.

Please email us (abesonrequests@gmail.com) to schedule a meeting with Shay.

Class Details:

Improv for Kids is catered towards both kids new to acting and those actively working in the industry! In this class, students will learn the basics of the improv form “The Harold,” exercise their imagination, improve their listening skills, and more!

Aria’s number one goal in this class is boosting kids’ confidence so that when faced with improv, kids feel empowered to make bold choices and try new things!

Improv is recommended to ALL youth division students at Abeson Studio.

This class is open to kids of all levels.
